What this is

Hi-Lo Trainer is a free tool for practicing the Hi-Lo card counting system used in blackjack. It deals virtual cards — one at a time, in flashed hands, or around a full table — so you can practice tracking a running count and converting it to a true count, without needing a real deck or another person.

It's built entirely around one specific, well-documented counting system. It doesn't try to teach you optimal blackjack play, betting strategy, or anything about how to behave in a casino.

What this isn't

• Not gambling. Nothing on this site involves real money, real cards, wagers, or prizes of any kind. There's no way to win or lose anything of value here — it's a practice simulator, the same category as a flashcard app.
• Not a casino guide. This site won't tell you how to avoid detection, what bet spread to use, or how to behave at a table. It's about the arithmetic of counting, not the etiquette or legality of using it in a real casino.
• Not a guarantee of anything. Card counting shifts long-run odds by a small margin; it doesn't guarantee winning any individual hand or session.

Who it's for

Anyone curious about how card counting actually works, or looking for a way to drill the Hi-Lo system without needing a real deck of cards or another person to deal for them. Whether that's pure curiosity or preparation for actual play is up to you — the tool itself is just the mechanics.
